Rick came to Ephrata Area Rescue Services Inc. 5 years ago and has been a
GREAT asset to the department.  Rick is married to Melissa and enjoys
spending time with his family and friends(The Black Sheep).  His family includes
Shanna (22), Derek (21), Dylan (20) , Amber (16) and a beautiful granddaughter
Janessa (2).  Rick has also offered his services to Liberty Fire Co. of New
Holland, Honeybrook Station 33 in Chester County and Denver Fire Co.  Rick's
motivation to volunteer came from wanting to give back to the community in a
positive way. When Rick is not doing Fire/Rescue duties he enjoys rock
climbing and has become the goto guy for anything rope related.  Rick trains as
much as he can, to be the best he can be when called upon to save a life.
Rick serves as Chairman on the Membership committee and sits on the
By-laws committee.
